N-Gage Made a Recurrence, WP8 OS Nokia Lumia X Leaked

There is no suspense that Nokia will launch new phone running on WP8 system in September, but what kind of phone model it exactly is will be still a riddle. Currently, oversea media information claims that a new Nokia Lumia X will be released in September. The main characteristics of it: 8-million-pixel rotatable lens, with N-Gage game coming back.

The appearance of Nokia Lumia X is almost the same with Nokia 5700, which is quite disappointing. Even so, there are something unique within Nokia Lumia X. For example, there is a button on the top for gaming exclusively, after revolving the phone the button for music only can be used.

HD Touch Screen
Nokia Lumia X has fairly excellent hardware configuration: HD AMOLED CLearBlack touch screen, Windows Phone 8, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor (MSM8260A), 28-nm Krait architecture, and integrated Adreno225 graphics processing chip. The performance will be five times as fast as the current Snapdragon processor, and the graphic processing ability will be four times as the present one.

Of course, the highlight of this mobile phone will be the 8-milion-pixel Carl Zeiss rotatable lens. At the same time, the classical game N-Gage will also make a recurrence, the game data will be stored in Nokia lab.

Release in September
According to rumors, Lumia X will be available in September. And based on the previous statement, the two WP8 new models will be Nokia Lumia910 as well as Lumia920. If Lumia X does really exist, it is probably be Nokia Lumia910.

And according to the current situation, the outstanding feature should be the new WP8 OS as well as Qualcomm dual-core processor. In addition, PureView technology can be introduced to the shooting function.

In any case, WP8 Nokia phone will be released in the upcoming Nokia World Congress held in Helsinki from September 5 to 6, 2012. Let’s just wait and see.

Lumia 1001: The First Windows Phone 8 Handset from Nokia?

Lumia 910 has became one of the selectable phone models for Nokia RDA service. It is supposed that Lumia 910 might be the T-Mobile version Lumia 900, a variant of Lumia 900, with 12-million-pixel camera. And now another new device—Lumia 1001 is found within Nokia RDA service.

It is speculated normally that Lumia 910 is the device of Windows Phone 7.X, so Lumia 1001 will probably be Windows Phone 8 handset. But there is still possibility that Lumia 910 will be reclassified as Windows Phone 8 handset. Apparently, “1000” belongs to a new Lumia series, and according to the naming rule of Nokia, the high-leveled number 1000 will be more advanced than Lumia 900 and Lumia 610.

Nokia RDA software allows developers testing applications on a hypostatic device that belongs to others via web browser. When entering into it, you are able to learn more relative information from Nokia RDA by sending the corresponding commands. Lumia 1001 was found in this way by TechCrunch.

Until now, there is no further information and specific introduction about Lumia 1001. So it may be joke, for users can not create data on it. Compared to Lumia 910, it is quite suspicious at least. On the other hand, we are not sure whether Lumia 1001 is a new flagship model from Nokia. Maybe there is already a good name label and product number for Nokia New flagship, it will perhaps be PureView Windows Phone.

Anyway, we have marked Lumia 1001 now and further information is looked forward.

Nokia Lumia 900 VS. HTC Titan II: Windows Phone Display/Camera Effect PK

It is a big event for Microsoft and AT&T recently, when the carrier opened its registers for two awesome 4G LTE Windows Phones: the Nokia Lumia 900 and the HTC Titan II. Both of them are equipped with the latest version of Windows Phone OS, over 4-inch large screens, 16GB of storage, 25GB of extra storage online and boast-worthy cameras.

As to the screens, the phones’ screens share a WVGA resolution (800×480 pixels), but two things make it stand out on the Lumia 900. First, the smaller screen (4.3 inches versus the Titan II’s 4.7 inches) makes the display sharper. In addition, the Lumia 900’s AMOLED screen material and ClearBlack display technology make blacks look darker and colors pop. It is rather stunning to enjoy videos on Lumia 900, especially when you download YouTube videos to Lumia 900 for an easy enjoyment. Side by side, with brightness on both screens set to the highest settings, the Lumia 900’s display looks richer, deeper, and far more vibrant than the Titan II’s. That isn’t to say that the Titan II has a subpar display. It’s fine, it just doesn’t pop.

As to the camera, the $199.99 (contract price) priced HTC Titan II has a 16-million-pixel high resolution camera, and also with many scene mode selections, granular manual settings and a large fine-tuning control. While the $99.99 (contract price) priced Nokia Lumia 900 also performs well, with 8-million-pixel camera sensor and Carl Zeiss VarioTessar.
“The two models of smart phones are with short time interval when taking continuous shooting, but HTC Titan II performs more flexible, the difference is even sharper when the sequence mode is activated. In addition, photos shot by HTC Titan II is with warm tones and more vivid color rendition. And the backlight HDR function enables a good performance in details under dim light condition. HTC Titan II also providing close-up shooting and portrait photography skills, Macro model can provide with clearer images. And during test, a few problems exist in Lumia 900 Macro shooting.”
