Have you already received an assignment for an internship? As a result, you will need to draw up a report that must meet the design standards, have its own structure and, of course, be literate. There are some nuances that cause difficulties. This will be discussed in the article.
Does a practice report need a structure?
Yes. The practice report is a clearly regulated document. Regardless of the enterprise or company where the student has practiced, the structure is the same. The content and volume of individual parts will differ. Each report must include:
- title page indicating the initial data about the trainee and the place of internship;
- content-plan;
- introduction with the designation of relevance, tasks and goals;
- theoretical chapter;
- practical chapter;
- schedule of internship with dates and stages of internship;
- final part;
- practice diary;
- feedback from the department and at least two leaders;
- attestation page in the form of a brief description of the report;
- References;
- applications.
The sequence is the same as in the list. It is impossible to say the exact amount, since it depends on the specifics of the pay someone to write a paper facility and the duties of the trainee. However, it should not be too small, and at the same time, this is not the scale of the thesis. Therefore, the numbers of 30-35 printed sheets serve as a guideline.
How should a practice report be formatted?
The rules for preparing student papers, including a report on work experience, are governed by national standards, for example internal university rules, which are contained in methodological recommendations.
Basic requirements that accomplishes are scientific style, literacy, uniqueness and reliability. As for design, there are many aspects. The text must be numbered. Continuous numbering and Arabic numerals are used. The unit is not put on the title page. Margin indentation - 2 cm, except for the right edge - 1 cm. Paragraph indentation is standard, Times New Roman font, 12 or 14, black, one and a half line spacing.
Separately, it is worth noting the design of images and tables. There are a lot of them in reports on production practice. Each visualization element is numbered. The number is double. For example, table 2.3 means that it is the third one in the second section. Also, you need a title. It is written with a dash after the number. The point is not set.
