Just install and run the Gammadyne Mailer. Most of the configuration is done on the Database Branch. So, click Database icon.

 

First, check the “Use Database” box. The easiest way to specify the location of the database is with “Connection String”.

 

Press on “connection string” button and click the “browse” button to select the database driver and file. Click on “Ok” to the next step.

 

And then, you will see a pop-up window, where you need click the “select” button to choose the database file. After defined the database name, click “OK” to continue.

 

Now, we need to specify which database table holds the mailing list. In “Table/Columns” frame, select the Table Name, Recipient Column, and Identity Column.

 

To prepare the the database for bounce and opt-out processing, we will need to configure how a recipient should be removed from the mailing list. This is done on the Remove/Options Branch.

 

In the Options panel, choose the Removal Method. For this particular Removal Method, we need choose which column is affected.

 

Finally, to confirm Gammadyne Mailer is integrating with the database, just choose “View Result Set” from the database menu.
