For the conversion, 1 step will finish the job. Open the program, select "AVI" in "Profile", drag and drop the WMVs in the program, or click "Add Video" to browse them in. Double click the file name to have a preview. Click "Convert" in the bottom right to launch the conversion.

Tips: Under "Edit", there is "Trim" to delete the bad spots and leave the good scenes, and "Crop" to remove the margins for a proper video dimension, "Effect" adjustment for a better visual effect and "Watermark" to add logo/text watermark.
