Step1. Import files

There are 3 ways loading source files to MXF Converter for Mac: 
1. Load Video files from the “File Menu”. Select “Add Video” to import source video.  

2. Use the “Add Video” button on toolbar to import source files.

3. Drag and drop video to “Getting Started” area.

Step2. Edit with built-in video editor

You can click “Editor to customize the video before converting videos. Four functionalities are available: Crop, Text Watermark, Image/Video Watermark, and Effect.

Crop: Cut off black edges and unwanted areas of the image.

Text Watermark: Add text watermark to selected video clip.

Image/Video Watermark: Add image or video watermark to selected video clip.

Effect: Adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and add special effects to the selected video.

Step3. Set output format

You can click on the pull down menu of “Format” to select your wanted format as output format from profile list. The profile list provides users with groups of flexible output solutions, including format presets for tablet PC, smartphones, game consoles, home media players, editing software, and more. Select a desired format from the list, and then you can step into the conversion process.

Step4. Advanced settings

To further customize the output format, please click “Settings” button to adjust video and audio parameters.

In Settings panel, you are allowed to adjust video codec, video size, bitrate, frame rate, audio codec, sample rate, audio bitrate and audio channels.

Step5. Convert

After everything necessary was selected, please click the “Convert” button to start conversion. A window will pop up as below:

The Conversion window displays task list and progress information including Time elapsed, Time left, Generated size, and Estimated size. After the conversion is done, simply click "Completed" to back to main interface, and click "Open" button to find generated files.
