Download and install Sothink iPod Video Converter. You can get coupon code for Sothink iPod Video Converter.

Step1. Add Files

Launch Sothink iPod Video Converter. Click button "Add Files" to import videos or audios you would like to play on your iPod/iPod Touch devices. Or drag the media into the program. It supports adding more than one file at one time.

Step2. Trim video

If you just want to convert a part of video content, you may realize it with Trim function:

Select the video you have added into the program, go to "Edit" - > "Trim" function, and then you can decide which part to be converted by dragging the left/right slider to set start/end time.

As the picture showing above, drag the left triangle to a position you want it be the start of the converted video and drag the right triangle to a position you want it be the end of the converted file. Then the video will be trimmed before being converted.

It is also working for audio files.

Step3. Set Target Profile

Go to Settings panel and set target output format. There are various pre-set profiles for all the iPod/iPhone and Apple TV devices' needs. Click the profile combo box and select a profile from the pop-up list.

For example, when you want to convert a video to iPod format, just select "MPEG-4 Video for iPod (*.mp4)" under "iPod Video (*.mp4)". After selecting target profile, the settings of the output video/audio are automatically specified basing on that profile. If you would like to set some video/audio properties for even better quality or other special needs, you may change and re-set the other settings by yourself.

Step4. Advanced settings

Go to Settings panel to do some general setting.

Click the arrow and select video dimension, zoom mode, video quality and audio quality from the drop down list. If you would like to do some advanced settings, like bit rate and channel, you can go to advanced setting panel.

Under tab "Advanced", there are Target profile, General, Video and Audio settings.

Step4. Convert

After setting what to be converted, which part to be converted and what result should be, it needs to set where to save the converted result before conversion.

Go to Output panel at the bottom of the interface. Click button "Browse" to set the direction of output folder, which is created to save the video and audio output files.

When the conversion is completed, users may click button "Open" to find the output files in the output folder.

Users may also set to directly save the output files into iTunes library if iTunes already installed in the computer. Then when your iPod, iPod Touch or iPhone is connected with the PC, the video and audio output files will be transferred for synchronism.

When all the settings are all right, it's time to convert. Just click "Convert" button in the Toolbar to start video to iPod conversion. It's OK to pause or stop the conversion progress if needed. When the task is finished, it will play a sound, which can be set in "Options" dialog, too.
