Equipped with OS7 System Blackberry Bold9900/9930 Officially Released

The annual Blackberry World Congress is held in Orlando World Center Marriott, Florida. On the conference, RIM brings us with a completely new Bold series products as well as the new Blackberry OS7 operating system. Among which RIM Blackberry Bold 9900/9930 become the protagonist on Blackberry World Congress this time.


Blackberry Bold 9900 and Blackberry 9930 are twin brothers which adopt 115 x 66 x 10.5 mm size, up to 1.2 GHz frequency, with 768MB (RAM) and 8GB (ROM), support 32GB memory expansion. The performance of CPU has not been mentioned but it describes the graphics processing capacity by using “High Performance GPU”. Blackberry Bold 9900/9930 owns 2.8-inch screen and with the screen resolution up to 640 x 480, and the screen pixel density reaches 287 ppi. As a result, video enjoyment on it will be an awesome matter, users can convert video to Blackberry Bold 9900/9930 for playback anytime anywhere.

Between the two, Blackberry Bold9900 will be a GSM product which supports 3G/4G network, HSPA+. The fastest downstream speed reaches 14.4Mbps and the quickest upstream speed achieves 5.76 Mbps. Meanwhile, it has downward compatibility of GSM/GPRS/EDGE network. On the contrary, Blackberry Bold 9930 is going to support 850/1900 CDMA network and EVDO Rev A data transmission.


There is a 5-million-pixel camera in Black Bold 9900 and Blackberry Bold 9930, supporting 720p video recording. At the same time, it supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi data transmission and NFC (Near Filed Communication) technology.
